These terms cover your use of Turnwater (getturnwater.com, the installable web app and anything built on it). By using Turnwater you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. Questions: xxmonsterbeatzxx@gmail.com.
Scores, "best windows", spot rankings and every other prediction are produced by a model from public data (NOAA tide predictions, Open-Meteo weather, astronomy and seasonal patterns). They can be wrong, late or unavailable. Turnwater cannot promise that fish will bite, and nothing in the app is a guarantee of any outcome.
You are responsible for having the licences and permits you need (for example a Florida fishing licence or the free shore-based shark fishing permit), and for following size, bag and season limits, closed areas and posted rules at piers, bridges, beaches and private property. Spot listings come from public map data; Turnwater does not confirm that a place is open, legal to fish, safe or accessible. Tips in the app are general and are not legal advice — check myfwc.com or your local agency.
Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity on your account. Give a real email address you control. You must be at least 13 to create an account. You can delete your account at any time from the account menu.
Don't misuse the service: no scraping or bulk downloading, no attempts to break, overload or get around security or usage limits, no reselling the data, no automated account creation, and nothing illegal. We may limit, suspend or close accounts that do.
Catches, spots and notes you save are yours. You let us store and process them only to run the service for you. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect.
Turnwater relies on outside sources (NOAA, Open-Meteo, Google Maps Platform, Esri, RainViewer and others) and shows ads to free-tier visitors through Google AdSense. We are not responsible for their accuracy, availability or content.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or uninterrupted availability, to the fullest extent the law allows.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Turnwater and its owner are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any injury, loss or damage arising from fishing, boating, travel or other activities you choose to do — including decisions made using a forecast. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or $10 if you paid nothing).
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use Turnwater after a change means you accept it. You can stop using the service at any time.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
